By accessing and using LingoLyft, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Service Description

LingoLyft is a web-based platform that helps YouTube creators translate video metadata (titles, descriptions, and tags) into multiple languages using third-party translation services.

3. User Account and Authentication

• You must authenticate using your YouTube/Google account via OAuth
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service

4. YouTube Integration

• We only access and modify video metadata that you explicitly select
• We cannot create, delete, or modify video content itself
• You retain full ownership and control of your YouTube content
• We comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and API policies

5. Translation Services

• You must provide your own API keys for translation services (Google Translate, DeepL, etc.)
• Translation costs are charged directly by your chosen provider
• We do not guarantee translation accuracy or quality
• You can review and edit translations before publishing

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to translate content that violates YouTube's policies

7. Privacy and Data

• We store minimal data necessary to provide the service
• Your API keys are encrypted and stored securely
• We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice

9. Limitations of Liability

LingoLyft is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to translation errors, service interruptions, or data loss.

10. Pricing and Payments

• Free tier includes limited usage as specified on our pricing page
• Paid plans include additional features and usage limits
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we may delete your account data according to our data retention policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
